Gary has been playing guitar since age 12. Growing up in Southern California in the 80’s his influences come from a wide range of Heavy Metal bands to Instrumental Surf Music he learned to appreciate from his father who is also a guitarist. Gary retired from the city of Los Angeles, serving as a Sergeant in the Los Angeles Police Department for 30 plus years. He enjoys playing a wide variety of music as set out in the Hammered Nails catalog and is an amazing lead guitarist.
